Greg Burrows Sr. Subdivision
Honoring a Nation Builder: Greg Burrows Sr. Subdivision

This new community comprises 76 lots for single-family homes, offering Bahamian families the opportunity to build and thrive in a well-planned and accessible neighborhood.
Greg Burrows Sr. is widely recognized as a nation builder and community leader whose lifelong dedication to youth development, education, and sports has positively impacted generations of Bahamians. He is best known as the founder of Freedom Farm Baseball League, one of the country's premier youth organizations that has nurtured the athletic and personal development of thousands of young boys and girls since its inception.
Through Freedom Farm, Mr. Burrows has helped shape not just athletes—but future leaders. Many of the program’s participants have earned college scholarships and gone on to represent The Bahamas on international stages. His passion for empowering youth extends beyond sports and into civic life, having served as a Senator and actively championing issues related to education, youth, and community upliftment.
By naming this subdivision in his honor, Arawak Homes pays tribute to a man whose influence has extended from the baseball diamond to the halls of national leadership.
At the announcement ceremony, Arawak Homes President Franon Wilson noted:
“Greg Burrows Sr. has dedicated his life to creating opportunities for young Bahamians. It is fitting that a community—where families will plant roots and children will grow—bears the name of someone who has spent decades doing just that for The Bahamas.”
This development is a lasting tribute to Mr. Burrows’ legacy of service, mentorship, and community building—values that align with the very mission of Arawak Homes.
