“Stone Shacks” premiers at Bahamas International Film Festival

“Congratulations your film has been accepted to the 2015 Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF), your film will be shown in the Caribbean Spotlight Narrative Film Category,” were the words that came from an email from Leslie Vanderpool-Wallace, Founder and Executive Director for BIFF who wrote to the the Bahamian Writer and Producer of “Stone Shacks“, Tyrone Burrows.
Mr. Burrows, President of Collage Entertainment, so elated with the news quickly phoned the sponsors of the film, Arawak Homes to share in the excitement.
Arawak Homes Ltd. is very pleased and proud to be a sponsor of this great film produced, written and executed by Bahamians. When asked about the film, President of Arawak Homes, Franon Wilson claimed, he “was really excited about the film and (we) salute Collage Entertainment for displaying very serious issues that affect so many persons in such a way that engage the public to communicate their fears and thoughts about becoming home owners.” Mr. Wilson further declared, that this partnership allows for future work between Collage Entertainment and Arawak Homes in communicating the solutions about real issues across social media and the public domain in a format that is humorous and quite unique in providing valuable information to all persons.
